Chloe has qualified!

Today we celebrate our next trainee becoming a solicitor.

Chloe has been on a journey with IDR right from the start of her legal career. From meeting Martin in her early days of work experience to being offered a training contract with us in the second year of university, its fair to say Chloe is ‘IDR’ through and through and we couldn’t be happier for her to qualify and achieve her goal of becoming a solicitor.

Martin comments.

‘My first meeting with Chloe was during a week’s work experience that we offered her whilst she was in the second year of her law degree at Leeds University. It was obvious even then that she had fantastic potential and after a second stint of work experience, I offered her a position as a supported paralegal where she could work full time for us whilst studying part time to complete her professional exams. A training contract followed, and she has now become the second qualified solicitor at IDR.’

Speaking to Chloe you can tell how thrilled she is to get ‘stuck in’ to her new role, commenting on how excited she is to finally get that independence in her working day.

‘I feel very proud and excited. I have worked so hard to get here and now it’s here I am looking forward to focusing in on an area of law that I absolutely love, putting all of that learning in to practice and becoming more independent.’

She went on to say of contentious probate.

I have worked in contentious probate for over three years now and whilst my official training has come to an end, I will continue to expand my knowledge in this area via the IDRU, to continue to help and resolve issues for people to the very best of my ability.’

Martin further comments.

‘Chloe is fulfilling that potential we saw in her, and we have no doubt that she will be a key member of the IDR Law team for many years to come. Well done, Chloe!”

Following closely behind Chloe our next two trainees Rebecca Everitt and Hannah Coton-Smith are working hard to complete their studies and becomes IDR’s next set of Solicitors.

Want to join the top class in Contentious Probate?

It’s a very exciting time at IDR, over the next few years we are heading into significant financial growth and with that growth we need new people.

We are now looking to expand the team at IDR, with all of our trainees becoming solicitors we are looking to recruit another Paralegal.

The biggest appeal of IDR for our team is that we are completely focused in one area of the law, there is zero noise from any other specialism. So, if contentious probate is your thing, it’s the best place to grow your career.
