Ending the year on a high!

It’s refreshing  to share some good news every once in a while and what better time than at Christmas! You may of noticed that we have been adding to our team of contentious probate specialists quite rapidly of late.

So much so, it’s been a bit like the 12 days of Christmas with new additions being added to the mix monthly, if not weekly. Including four Paralegals, a Head of Marketing, a Solicitor, an Associate, a Senior Associate and a brand new Partner (in a Peartree!)

New staff means shiny new premises and we have gone national, opening up two new office spaces in Manchester and Bristol for our team to work out of.

We adopted flexible working way before the pandemic, and although opening up these new spaces, to accommodate our growing team, they can still choose to work where they wish. Whether that be in the office five days a week, a hybrid scenario or popping in every now and then for a break from their own four walls.

Martin has recently got back from  a trip to Bristol, where he was meeting the team and getting the office ready to go. Whilst there it dawned on him that all of our offices are within walking distance of the same two restaurants, The Ivy and San Carlo. Which makes for a bit of a coincidence when you add to it that our next target cities for office space are also in very close proximity to the same two restaurants!

To reflect our national operation from Harrogate, Manchester and Bristol (with the plan for more!), we’ve changed our direct phone number to a new non-geographic one, 0330 175 9912. The number links to our existing one and all of our team are still contactable on their existing direct dials.

Looking ahead to 2022

There’s lots to look forward to in the new year at IDR. As well as acquiring new people and offices, we’ve also been hard at work on the IDR Network.

The IDR Network has been set up to positively communicate and engage with all of our referrers and other organisations who are looking for training and support when it comes to contentious probate. We’ll have some exciting news to share about the launch of our resource before Christmas, so watch this space!

It goes without saying that with more offices on the horizon there will be new opportunities for contentious probate specialists to join our team.

Join the top class in contentious probate

Founded by Martin Holdsworth (ACTAPS) Committee member, our team have over 100 years of combined experience in contentious probate, and we are looking to recruit more specialists into our top class.

The biggest appeal of IDR for our specialists is that we are completely focused on one area of law, there is zero noise from any other specialism. So, if contentious probate is what interests you, it’s the best place to grow your career.

Find out more about our team and working at IDR Law from our ‘team spotlight’ blog with one of our recent recruits Paris Flood, Senior Paralegal.
