Kate started her career in law as a Paralegal in 2015, after graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Psychology degree.

Kate then went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Law in 2018 and her Professional Legal Practice Course (Masters) in 2020, all whilst working full time as a Paralegal. Kate completed her training contract here at IDR Law in 2022 and is now a Solicitor at the firm.

Kate was originally attracted to this niche area of law as she has personal experience in it, with her own family being reported in case law following a will dispute in the family. Kate uses her experience to help guide her clients through the process with sensitivity and understanding.

Away from the office Kate enjoys spending time with her family and walking as much as possible with her Scottish terrier!
