Louisa Wardle
LLB (Hons) CTAPS

Louisa studied at the University of Sheffield obtaining an LLB Law degree and postgraduate Certificate in Legal Practice.

Louisa qualified as a Solicitor in 2008 having undertaken her Training Contract at a well know full-service law firm in Sheffield.

Louisa first worked with Martin as a newly qualified Solicitor at a large firm in Leeds from 2008 to 2013. Louisa now lives in East Yorkshire and predominantly works from home under the Firm’s family flex arrangements, visiting the Harrogate office to see clients where necessary.

Louisa knew early on in her career that she wanted to specialise in Litigation and is passionate about helping her clients reach their goals with empathy and understanding. Louisa starts with the end in mind with a focus on cutting through the legal jargon to give clear, practical guidance. Louisa particularly enjoys assisting Claimants with claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. Louisa is firm where necessary but seeks to work with other professionals in a collaborative way to resolve disputes without unnecessary litigation and cost. Louisa has never had a case fail at trial.

Louisa has been a member of the Association of Contentious Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) since 2013.

Outside of work, Louisa enjoys spending time with her young family, volunteering for Guide Dogs and walking her Labrador in the Yorkshire Wolds.
