Having recently graduated from The University of Warwick with a degree in English Literature, Maia joined the team at IDR in June of last year.

As a content assistant and copywriter, Maia has worked on several different projects since joining the team, predominately with the IDRN.

Since working at IDR, Maia has found her interest in law continues to blossom, and so later this year, she plans to begin a law conversion course. The world of law has always been of interest to Maia. Coming from a family where both parents are part of the legal industry has allowed her to experience and draw inspiration firsthand from the opportunities that are available within this sector.

Outside of work, Maia is an avid hockey player, having played since she was 13 years old. While at university, she was even the captain of her hockey team. In her downtime, she loves to spend time with her three siblings, walking her two beloved French bulldogs out in the countryside. It also comes as no surprise that, since completing a degree in English Literature, Maia loves to read and will often be found invested in a good novel.
