IDR Law has been serving the needs of clients and referrers from all over the UK since its inception in 2017. From an initial physical base in Harrogate, the size of contentious probate specialists has grown to over 20 in number making it one of the biggest in the UK. Our team members are spread all over the country – from North Yorkshire to Suffolk, to Avon and Somerset and all in between. We like to get together, see referrers or meet with clients still, so we have physical homes in two very special offices located in Harrogate and Manchester.

Harrogate

Situated on Tower Street in the Victorian spa town of Harrogate is IDR HQ. The office is certainly worth a visit, it is an old warehouse which we took when it was being restored – a lovely and rather unique space to work from. Tower Street is just off the main stray and within walking distance of a gym, hotels, bars, and cafes, making it the perfect HQ hub for our team to regroup and network.

The old town boasts a bit of an eclectic culture known as a place for spa style r&r with the original Turkish baths still in situ. However, we usually point people in the direction of the iconic Betty’s tea shop for an infamous Fat Rascal after a visit to the office!

Manchester

We opened our second office space in Manchester in September 2021, and it’s truly an extension of our philosophy at IDR Law. We wanted somewhere that would provide a collaborative space for our new talent to work from and Spaces 125 Deansgate is where we found it.

It is not difficult to see why Manchester was crowned Captial of Culture and being in the heart of this thriving city makes it easy for our team to meet with peers, as well as our clients and the odd referrer! We love heading down to the Northern Quarter for a bit of brunch and snoop around the vintage stores.
