The Only Way is up!

Spring is all about new beginnings, and this certainly is the case for two of our fantastic team members. 

Chloe Harvey of our Harrogate office and Henry Straw of our Manchester office have been promoted to Associate Solicitors. We’re so proud of their amazing achievements, which are a testament to the effort and dedication they put into their work. As a firm, there is nothing we love more than seeing members of our team grow and progress in their careers.

IDR CEO & Founder Martin Holdsworth shared his thoughts on Chloe and Henry:

“Chloe’s first involvement with CP work was as a short period of work experience with me at my previous firm. Whilst only in her second year of her Law Degree at Leeds University, Chloe made enough of an impression to have me offer her a return stint the following year and a paralegal position at the end of her degree whilst she studied part-time for her professional qualifications. A training contract followed with qualification and now promotion to Associate Solicitor. The last 8 years+ have clearly demonstrated that the original call about Chloe’s ability and promise were entirely justified. Chloe has developed into a class fee earner in her own right and I know she is regularly approached by new joiners and juniors alike for guidance and support.

Henry started as a legal clerk at a London firm almost 14 years ago and since then has take on operational roles before committing to private client work with April King in 2016. Henry moved from there to Buckles where he continued to work in the private client team there until he joined us here in November 2023. In the last 17mths, Henry has demonstrated not only an ability to manage a client caseload but does so performing well on all his case metrics and getting involved in general BD work (and bar tending of course).

I have no doubt that both Chloe and Henry will continue to be the IDR Law assets they now are – congratulations again to both – thoroughly deserved”
